Is it possible to set up a Windows XP home edition to host a Remote Desktop
connection? I know the pro version can and I believe that XP home can be
tweaked.

If so how is it done?

No, but you can use a program like UltraVNC to access/control a remote XP Home machine...

If you use VNC over the public internet I suggest running it through a SSH or VPN tunnel since the
native VNC data stream is not encrypted...

"the client could not connect to the remote computer. Remote
connections might not be enabled or computer might be too
busy", I have Linksys router, have setup to open port 3389, still not working

Which need to be running XP Pro, if you are trying to use RD - but this is
a thread about VNC. You might wish to post a new message, not a reply in an
