Hello everyone,
I have recently bought a SONY VAIO PCG K215B notebook. It has a celeron
2600MHz processor with 512MB ram. When i bought it, windows XP home edition
was installed. But i immediately reverted to XP professional. Now i see that
my computer runs very slow. Even The word 'slow' would be too fast to
describe it. Its damn slow. Running the IE eats up 95% cpu usage. No video
file can be run in a full screen mode (not even at 200% zoom). When i run it
on full screen mode, we can clearly how a movie is actually played. Each
frame is clearly visible, and is more or less like a slide show of pictures.

Can someone tell me whats the problem. I didnt test my computer with the
home edition. But i remember to have played a DVD on the home edition and it
seemd to have worked well.

can some one help me to figure out where the problem is ??? I definitely
dont think its a software issue .. then what is the problem ??

thanks in advance,
rao.
