Hello

I am seeking assistance regarding a recent problem. I purchased my notebook
ten days ago, and all was working OK, until yesterday when all of a sudden
Windows went from a vertical to a horizontal view. I can not find any
solution, nor reason why this has happened.

As it is now, I have to hold my head at an angle to work on my computer.

Can anyone help with this problem?

Hold Down the CTRL+ALT and Arrow UP until you get the screen rotated to the
normal View.
Another is to Right Click on the Desktop and select properties.
On the Display properties click on Settings or appearance and see if there
is an option for Rotating the screen say about 90 Deg.
HTH.
Let us know.

I answered this question yesterday, in a different newsgroup. Please do not
send the same message separately to more than one newsgroup (called
multiposting). Doing so just fragments the thread, so someone who answers in
one newsgroup doesn't get to see answers from others in another newsgroup.
And for those who read all the newsgroups the message is multiposted to,
they see the message multiple times instead of once (they would see it only
once if you correctly crossposted instead). This wastes everyone's time, and
gets you poorer help than you should get.

If you must send the same message to more than one newsgroup, please do so
by crossposting (but only to a *few* related newsgroups).

Please see "What is the accepted way to share a message across multiple
newsgroups?" at http://smjg.port5.com/faqs/usenet/xpost.html

Also, please read your answers before asking again. If you are having
trouble finding replies to your messages, that's probably because you are
using the web interface to read this newsgroup--it's the slowest, clunkiest,
most error-prone method there is. Do yourself a favor and switch to a
newsreader, such as Outlook Express, which comes with Windows. See
http://www.michaelstevenstech.com/outlookexpressnewreader.htm

And I might add - before asking a question, do a little searching on your
own.

This particular problem seems to get asked and answered as frequently as
daily, seldom less frequently than every 2nd or 3rd day.
