Hello,
This is my first time posting to this forum and need some help. I am working with an Access 2003 database that tracks specific tasks. In addition, it also tracks who requested the task, when it was requested and the times/dates it was started/finished. There will be multiple people inputting data and I need to make it as simple as possible for every one.
I currently have a form that contains all of this information. My supervisor wants me to create a data entry sub-form that contains the time breakdown of each person who worked on a specific task, tied in with the order #. The subform will have 6 items, each with related text boxes for technician, start/end time, start/end date and total time. I have attached a form (in Excel format) to show the layout of the form. I am trying to get the form to (a) not show duplicates of the first set of entries and (b) to calculate the total time in the last column in the TOTAL box at the bottom (while having the CHARGE TIME field appear in decimal format). It would be great if someone can point me in the right direction.
