HomeSearchAssistant problem

Hello, everytime I go into IE (6) My home page is not what it should be, for example I have set it to "www.msn.ca" when I log off IE do to somehting else remotely, and go back into IE, the home page is changeed and this is what I get
"res://xbqyr.dll/index.html#96676",
There are 3 items in my add remove preogram list: HomeSearch, ShoppingWizard and SearExtender, everytime I try to remove them the error message appears:
Problem with shortcut; unable to find http://lookingfor-cc/uninstallHomeSearchAssistant/index.html
I have manually entered this url or close to it, found the page oof the uninstaller but it does not work.
Does any body know how to remove the entry and restore the original Home page setting, this is software I had not downloaded, so unalbe to reinstall to remove.
