I have four office computers; three have Win98SE and the other has W2k Pro.
They are connected by a DELL Powerconect Digital Router (noVPN or firewall).
We use Verizon DSL at the office to connect to the internet. Each user dials
using PPPoe to access the internet. I also have a laptop running WinXP Pro. I
have no problem plugging into the router and sharing files while I'm at the
office. What I would like to do is connect to the W2k Machine and or all the
machines from my home. At home, I use Time Warner Cable to access the
internet. I can't ping any of the computers at the office via the internet.
I've made sure the computers are connected to the internet. What am I doing
wrong? Any light anyone could share on this matter would be greatly
appreciated.
