I use 2000 Pro at work and have XP Pro at home.

I am accustomed to creating a backup by

HD -> Properties -> Tools -> Backup

The tools tab on XP Home that my friend owns has no backup.

Is that a Home/Pro difference? If not, where is it hiding?

Not installed by default by most OEM XP Home installers.

Since Windows is so easily crippled by fragmentation,
is there a way to have a scheduled task kick off defrag?

thanks

Hi Wes,

You can use the command-line defrag.exe tool to accomplish this. See:
