home page

My home page was recently automatically changed while my
son was on the internet. I cannot change it back using
tools and internet options. There is no longer a general
tab in which to select homepage. Perhaps there is another
place where I can change my home page back. The page that
is now coming up is searchv. I have also lost the address
bar. Thanks for any help.
