My home page has been taken over by a chinese page cctv8.net that my wife has used under user set-up. We have a Sony Vaio with two users set up in Windows XP. When I try to reset my home page there is a message in the lower left saying error on page. In internet options the home page designation is set to cctv8 and is not highlighted so it can't be changed there. Can anyone tell me how to get rid of this. Thanks

A couple of possibilities and fixes.
1. Spyware has hijacked your browser. Get either Spybot Search and Destroy
http://www.safer-networking.org/
or Adaware
http://www.lavasoftusa.com/
2. You may have a virus such as qhosts. See
http://securityresponse.symantec.com/avcenter/venc/data/trojan.qhosts.html

Also, ensure you keep your windows current with critical updates.
