home page problem

Hi
I'm having a problem with a web site that somehow forced it
self as my home page every time I start IE 6. when I go to
tools and then internet option erase that site and hit
apply. this seem to work for a couple of days but then
somehow it overide my command and come back as my home page
(although I have not been logged to that site). also i've
noticed that my browser has become slower to download from
the net since this happened (not sure if both are
related).how can I perminantly get rid of this annoying link?

Hi

I just looked at previous posts and downloaded ad-aware6.0
it detected all the spyware i had in my harddrive
(including one from that annoying link). now my IE run in
full force with no delay.

sounds like you downloaded a dialer, which surfs the net
and downloads certain websites to your computer, most
commonly used with adult websites. You have to delete the
dialer to get rid of it changing your default homepage
