home page changes

I have some odd files in my system folder called grim
online and metref there are lots of them and they keep
trying to connect to the net MC Afee blocks this. Anyone
know what they are and how to get rid of them safely. My
home page keeps changing to searchweb2 with a post
through line everything sseems to default to this dont
know if its related to the grim online files any help
please
