I am having problems with home networking.

Computer A ( host ) is running on Win XP Pro sp2.

Computer B ( client ) is running on Win XP Pro 2002.

The host doesnt have any problem connecting to the
client's C:/ ( Copy, Paste, Delete )

But when i use the client to connect to the host, i got
this problem:

---> \\dell(host) is not accessible. You might not have
permission to use this network resource.Contact the admin
of this server to find if you have access permission.

Please Help. Thank You.

could be the sp2, could be that the settings arent
correct on the host, if the security settings arent
correct, you will most definately get denied access to
its resources. my suggestion is to look at all of the
clients security settings, and make the host identical.

I had the same problems. The reason was - as indicated by others -
the Firewall. Only after telling it to let the local network
neigbourhood (i.g. the other PC on the net) through, I could get
through to both.
