Home Networking Problem

I am running Windows XP on one computer and ME on a
second. Both are connected to the internet through a
router attached to a cable modem. I am attempting to set
up a network so that I can share the printers attached to
the two machines. I go through the XP home networking
wizard but when finished, the computer can not find any
network. I have created a network setup wizard for the ME
and that machine does recognize that it is part of
network. When I go to My Network Places and attempt to
View Network Computers,I get the following message:
Workgroup is not accessible. You might not have
permission to use this network resource. Contact the
administrator of this server to find out if you have
access permissions. The list of servers for this
workgroup is not currently available. Anyone have any
ideas where the problem lies? Thanks.

Have you had any luck with this problem? I am having the
exact same problem with an XP and a 98 computer even
though they were connecting fine until I changed my router
to a wireless router. If you can email me when you get a
solution, I would really appreciate it.

i had a similar prob, it was down to my firewall. you
haven't mentioned it so i don't know if you are running
one. i use zonealarm and i had TRUSTED ZONE on medium, i
reduced to OFF and all now works fine. hope it works for
