I am trying to set up a network at home between my desktop
running Windows XP Home Edition and my laptop using
Windows 2000 Professional.

They are connected through my ASDL Router (DSL-504). I
have set up a Network Bridge using windows XP and my
Router has picked it up. I can ping the Network Bridge's
IP address from my laptop but cant do anything else. I
wish to transfer data between the two machines. Can
anyone help?!??!

Thanks

David

what are the IPs of the two computers? why do you enable network bridge?
