We have XP on 2 computers. Initially when we set up a network we barely
gave it a thought, everything fell into place. For some reason we can no
longer access at times either one computer or neither in either direction.
If we click on My Network Places the other computer's shared files are
displayed but we can't access them - get an error, You might not have
permission. The network path was not found. Can anyone suggest a simple
solution to this problem. We never had to assign permission before,
firewall not activated etc.

What is your network model and topology? What kind of hardware are you
using? What are the settings for each computer? We'll need a little
more info for a complete diagnosis.
