Home Network Connectivity Issue

I have a wireless network at home that I am trying to join
both computers to a workgroup (MSHOME). Both computers
have Internet access and can ping the wireless router but
cannot ping each other or sharded files/folders within the
workgroup.

Do you need to log into the workgroup like a domain where
there is a third text box to enter the workgroup name?

Any ideas?

Do you have the firewalls enabled on the computers?
