Home folder replaced with TEMP

I was installing some software when I saw a flash of blue (presumably the
blue screen of death) and XP restarted.

When I login now, the home directory is called TEMP. my old home is still in
Documents and Settings, but not in use.

This has happened to two computers on me (one xp pro, one xp home).
Any clues how to re-point my home to my user account folder?

Yes. That'll help. However the user customizations are not carried forward
to the new user account.
