Home folder not mapping in XP

Hello there. I just setup 2 people at my company with 2 new laptops. They
were using old laptops up until a week ago. For some reason their home
folders don't mapp sometimes. This is a mixed WIn 2k, Win 2003 server Active
directory environment. The laptops they were using before were win 2k
machines. The login script maps all other drives except the home folder.
Again, this only happens about 1/2 of the time. Nothing has change in ACtive
Directory or with permissions set on those folders. The only common
denominator is that these 2 people received new WIn xp machines. I have
scoured Microsoft Technet and I am not really usre if the answer is there.
Any suggestions are appreciated.

Do you have a login script or just using AD to assign the home directory?
What I would do is try the cmd "NET USE H: /HOME" from their computer and
see if it maps then. I have this in a login script on my network and it
works every time.

Yes I do have a login script that maps their home directory. As for your
solution, do you suggest doing this one time from their desks will result in
a permanent fix?
