Holding shiftkey down while opening database won't bring TOOLS men

Please help ! Holding down the Shiftkey while opening this database won't
bring the Tools menu on. What's my next option ?
 
Thanks Damian, I knew about F11 but RightClicking on the database window wont
do a thing so I can't access the database properties this way ?
 
If you (or someone else) have been into the startup properties and switched
off access to these things, you could be in strife... Holding down the shift
key while opening the DB should work for you though - remember to keep
holding the shift key until the DB window appears...
