Would like to know why everytime I boot up (normal) my xp home, I get this
message under " Hkcmd module .....has encountered a problem and need to
closed". Looking at the error code 0 x c00000005.

When I click closed, my dial up dialogue page will appeas and keeps blinking
and a message will say that there is a problem in "msn Connection
Troubleshooter. Havent got a clue to resolve this issue and using AVG and
found and cleared 2 trojan . Some help much appreciated, thanks

hkcmd.exe is Intel Hotkey command activator
http://www.intel.com/products/chipsets/eg1/index.htm

hkcmd.exe is installed alongside Intel multimedia devices and allows
configuration and diagnostic options for these devices. This program is a
non-essential process

Installed by the Intel 810 and 815 chipset graphic drivers. If you want the
Ctrl+Alt+F12 or similar keypresses to access Intel's customised graphics
properties, you need it, otherwise not. Can be disabled via the Display
Properties in Control Panel.

tab.
In general tab at the bottom, "Device usage"- do I disable it ?

"Although great in theory, on some PCs we have found that whenever IGFXTRAY
and HKCMD are running, Windows Explorer is prone to hanging and showing as
"not responding" in the Task List. Our recommendation, therefore, is that
you should not have this tray icon running, and that you should also not use
the hotkey facility that comes with it. Disable both IGFXTRAY and HKCMD"

igfxtray.exe is a process which allows you to access the Intel Graphics
configuration and diagnostic application for the Intel 810 series graphics
chipset. This program is a non-essential system process
