Hit 2GB limit size

Hi,
This morning I can't open my outlook 2000.
I check the outlook.pst file is 2.063GB.
The system wants me to create a new file.
How to solve this problem?

ps - you are going to lose data. what and how much data can't be judged.

There is a hard limit of 2GB for pst files. You must create a new pst and
begin working out of it.

You will have to use the following tool to get your old .pst so that you can
use it

Outlook 2003 will allow you to create .pst files that are larger than 2GB,
but pst files are prone to corruption, so I would re-evaluate the way that
you save email.

I'm always completely baffled as to how anyone can get a pst file this big
in the first place. Do you NEVER do any archiving or any housekeeping at
all?
