history - lost pages

Hi,
When ever I view internet pages they are never kept in my
history buttons history. For example: If I were open
Internet explorer and visit 10 different web sites, and
then close Internet explorer, Then re open Internet
explorer and click the history button (on the toolbar)
the history is blank. There is no history. Are they
settings that need to be configured to store web pages in
history? They used to be stored but have recently
disappeared.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Your index may be damaged. Remove and a new one will be created.
