history kill

The past few days when I log off and my computer does a history kill it freezes up when it reacher "Killing recent document list".. I end up having the hit ..alt +control+ delete and then go in and end task which freezes up too and then somehow I get it to log me off...help
 
How do you clear history? I go into tools/internet options/
& clear history, cookies, & files. marvo

You have a third-party program, which is sayinng 'Killing recent
document list.' You need to ascertain which program it is.

Then go to Start > Run > msconfig
startup tab and disable that program from starting.

i really dont want to disable it cause it gets rid of anywhere we have been like a privacy tool...just wanted to know why it wasnt working or get it to work right..

we have a program that automatically runs when you sign off that deletes where you have been and what you have done..its a privacy thing...including temp internet files so u dont have to go in and do it yourself...cleans uot all the websites you have been on...et
