Ok finnaly got ftp working on IE 7
But to my horror it shows as a sort of apache server styled
html list. which makes it impossible to create / delete files
and folders.

Or add new for that sake..

suggestions on how to turn it into "normal" folder view style.
so i can do my ftp work from ie `?

With Vista / IE7, I hate the history bar functionality revision. Hopefully
someone can point me to a setting somewhere to get back to the "old"
operation.

With XP, history bar inside Internet Explorer used to only show a history of
web site addresses that I had typed. History bar inside the File Explorer
screens would show a list of all the drives connected to my machine so I
could drill down to the drive / directory / file I needed.

New history bar seems to be common to both applications. Drop down shows
total history of visited websites and directories, and does NOT show the list
of connected drives. It's also the complete history as opposed to just the
history of ones I have manually typed in.

Is there any way to split back into the 2 separate applications? It stinks
being in file explorer needing to get to a file on my "Z:" network drive, and
the drop down list shows things like http://www.google.com!!
