I can not delete website history. Either one site at a
time by highlighting the site listed then clicking
delete, or via "internet options" and clicking clear
history. Does anyone know how to solve this problem?
Thanks in advance for a quick response.

In the # of days listed in internet options, set to zero.
If any days are listed then history will follow,in zero
mode,a day is kept till reboot,at zero, clear history,
reboot,all is gone.

try this:
open my computer and go to somewhere like here ->
C:\Documents and Settings\user(or your login name)\Local Settings\History
and then delete whatever entry you want.

better yet. if you want to delete just the typed URL in the address bar in
IE.
open regedit from run
then go here :
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\TypedURLS
then select the typed URLs you dont want on the right side. right click and
delete. Be careful though, see WINXP stores 25 typed URL maxium but if the
entry you dont want happens to be URL1 then the rest will be gone too.

Hi Ray,

Run the undo on line 101

If that doesn't help:

Temp Files: IE/Tools/Internet Options/Delete Temporary Internet Files
Temp Files: C:\Documents and Settings\<username>\Local Settings\Temp & TIF
Cookies: C:\Documents and Settings\<username>\Cookies
History: C:\Documents and Settings\<username>\Local Settings\History

To Clear Google Toolbar History

Click on the Google logo to access the drop down menu. Choose the Clear

drop down box.

Typed URL's: Start/Run/Regedit: Open your registry and find the key below

Removes your Internet history in Internet Explorer. Clears the address list

history. It also deletes locked files ("index.dat" and files that are in
use by applications).
