Highlight appt dates in Outlook 2000 calendar

I have Outlook 2000 and in the Calendar file, the monthly calendar no longer
highlights the dates where I have appointments scheduled.

Which monthly calendar are you referencing? I don't recall highlighting in
the Monthly view of the calendar, although the Date Navigator (the little
calendar that appears above the Taskpad) does have that. It hightlights two
months back and ten months forward, in current versions of Outlook. I
haven't used Outlook 2000 in ages, so I can't remember if it worked that way
in that version, but I think it did.
