I recently downloaded and installed Windows XP Service
Pack 1a. I was under the impression (according to Mic
Know. Based Article 312370) that it would install the USB
enhanced controler necessary for me to run high speed USB
devices. However, I still get the same warning as
before, "HI-SPEED USB DEVICE PLUGGED INTO A NON HIGH-
SPEED USB HUB", and according to the system analysis
there are " NO HI-SPEED USB HOST CONTROLERS INSTALLED ON
THIS COMPUTER"
Why wasn't the Enhanced Host Controller installed?
Is there a change that I need to make after the
installation of the service pack so that I can use USB
2.0 devices at there normal speed?
