high processor usage(freezing) with kazaa lite

My processor spikes to 100% and freezes my PC shortly
after launching kazaa lite. It will stay frozen and at
100% cpu usage for 2- 3 mins then return to normal for
about a minute, at which point it starts all over. This
problem occured about a week ago, since which I have
formatted and reinstalled windows(unrelated problem) and
reinstalled Kazaa lite, but I'm still having the same
problem. Anyone know why? E-mail me, Thanks
 
If you've been using any version of Kazaa (Lite or the regular) for
any length of time, your system may be loaded with spyware and who
knows what else?

Better yet get Kazaa Lite K ++ which has NO adware spyware or malware
in it, plus more features and a better search engine.

Get a free copy of Ad Aware or Spy Bot and run it to rid your system
of any hidden spyware. Also use an up to date virus tool to scan
your system for worms and infections.

I have no spyware, as I said, this is a fresh Windows
install, and this happened the first time I ran Kazaa
Lite. Besides, I have Ad-aware,so that's not it.

NOT MY PROBLEM. I'm running Kazaa Lite k++. Again,
spyware is not my problem, so if anyone has a suggestion
for me, that's not spyware related, I'm all ears. Thanks

No need to yell. I don't have a clue what your problem is as you've posted
this as a new thread.

I don't recommend using any peer to peer file sharing software, actually -
ix-nay. It's far too dangerous....a great way to get a virus, trojan, etc.
It's banned on any computer I work on. <cracks whip> :-)
 
I figured it out. I was downloading a file( 600 ROMS and
2 emulators.zip) from kazaa lite, and this was apparently
the cause of my problem. It had been downloading, slowly,
over the past week, and finished today. Now that it's
done, the problem is gone. After thinking about it, the
problem started shortly after i started downloading it.
This nintendo emulator was what was causing my problem.
Weird eh??
