I have written an application that starts a ManagementEventWatcher and uses
WMI. The application takes around 0-1% CPU in XP whereas in Vista the CPU
usage is 30-40% continuously. Is there a fix?

Today we are the 13th of May and you are posting from the future = May 16th.
This way you are always arriving on top of the lsit in the forum - I guess
that is what you want ? (If it is, you're stupid)

Stop this NOW RIGHT AWAY !

Sorry my computer reads May 13, 2007, I have not set it to May 16.
My post also has 5/13/2007 2:45 PM written on it. I am sending from Windows
Mail from Vista. Don't know if it has such bugs.

Please, I would love your answer to my question about the WMI issue.

Yes, employ a competent programmer who is up to speed
with the latest technology rather than legacyware.

For your information the application is written using c# and used the .NET
Framework 2.0. This is a problem with Vista.
Thanks
