Hiding row and column numbers and letters

I've seen worksheets in the past that only show the content of the sheet and
do not show the numbered rows or lettered columns along the left and the
top. If I want to turn these off, which menu command do I use?

Rich, tools, options, view, and uncheck row and column headers
