I have multiple users setup on my win2000 pro machine. I want to be
able to hide all desktop icons on one user, but have all icons showing
on another user. I have found how to hide ALL icons, but not to be
selective about it. Is there any way to customize EACH user's desktop
in regards to the icons they are albe to see and/or use?

Each users desktop (icons/shortcuts) is stored at:
C:\Documents and Settings\%username%\Desktop

C = drive letter
%username% = user's logon name (i.e. Michelle)

Open the Group Policy Editor
Expand "User Configuration"
"Administrative Tools"
"Desktop"
Double-click "Hide all icons on Desktop"
Select "Enabled"
Click [OK]

This only affects the current user that is logged on.
