Hiding icons from the system tray

Hi all

do you know of a way to hide certain icons from the system tray in
windows 2000? I do not want the users to know that certain programs
are running so that they do not attempt to change their configuration
(antivirus etc)

You should look into this applications configuration - most of them has
an option to hide tray icon
