Hiding files

How can I have an xml file that I use and install on the user's
handheld be hidden? Also, is it possible to keep it hidden even if
they want to show hidden files on their PPC device?
 
To keep it hidden when Explorer is set to show all files would require some
type of filesystem filter driver, so I'd say forget about that. If you mark
it as a System file, it will be hidden in most circumstances...
