Right click the desktop>Arrange icons by>Show/Hide desktop icons

Fred2002 was asking how to do it in Windows XP x64 I suspect? The Help and
support only applies to XP, So Is there anyway to Hide Desktop Icons In XP64?
Without loading something like StarDock ?
