Hide those ugly paragraph marks

Hi
Is there a way after switching off the Paragraph marks, I could protect the
document by preventing other users whom I sent the document from turning on
the Show/Hide button so that the word document would like a PDF document. (
Is there a way I could disable this button).

No, this is an individual user preference. I am used to seeing nonprinting
characters and disoriented when I don't see them. Just make sure there are
no *unnecessary* formatting marks for recipients to see. This means no extra
paragraph marks (use Space Before/After instead), no extra tab characters
(set specific tab stops), and no extra spaces (be careful to remove trailing
spaces from the ends of paragraphs).
