Hide taskbar, show clock

i'd like to keep the clock display while hiding the task bar.

is it possible to have the clock alone on the desktop? i can't figure out
how to run it as a program separate from the taskbar. i'd like to be able to
hide the task bar, but still have the clock visible at all times.

any insight is much appreciated!

You will need to go to a third party clock program to accomplish this.
Perform a Google search, there are plenty of these programs available and
many are freeware.
 
How did you hide the Taskbar, I am looking for a way to hide or remvoe the
taskbar.

Right-click on the Taskbar and choose Properties. Then check "Autohide".

OH, that will only hide when you are running an application.
I need to setup a way that user cannot run any other application except our
software. So no Taskba and Start Menu.
