Hi

I am using start menu folder redirection across a college, and not all
computers have all applications installed and there are quite a few
variations of installed applications.

I though I saw once, a microsoft tool to hide shortcuts if they are not
valid for the machine that the appear on.

If this makes sense, could someone please let me know if they know of
anything.

Regards

David

I have a GPO with folder redirection for the start menu, including all
the possible shortcuts for all machines. all software is not going on
all machines, so the shortcuts will be redundant for that logon period.

Students will be logging onto various pc's in different departments, so
different applications will be available.
