I am working on a document that requires no page number showing on the title
page and table of contents (pages 1 & 2), but visible page numbers throughout
the rest of the document, starting with page 3. I've tried inserting a
section break after page 2 and then inserting page numbers beginning with 3.
This doesn't work -- the page numbers begin at the start of the document.
Any ideas?

Hi, jemscout. You are on the right track by inserting a section break after
page 2. After you do that, you need to click on View | Header and Footer,
and turn off the "same as previous" button on the Header and Footer toolbar.
Arrow down to the footer and turn off "same as previous" there too. Then
insert the page number.
