We would like to set up a distribution list so that when
we address the To: to the distribution list only the name
of the list comes up in the recipients email. Currently
every recipient in the list sees all the names in the list.

Is there a way to hide the names??

Any help on this is greatly appreciated. -Maria

Hi Maria,

You will need to put the personal distribution list in the BCC field. For
the To field, you could type the following:

Undisclosed Recipients <maria's e-mail address here>

Try to address the message to youself and then select the
distribution list in the bcc field. I woould test it since
I am not an Outlook trainer

Thanks for the tip, this seems to work.

Due to the Swen virus, all e-mails sent to this account will be deleted
w/out reading.

I have another twist to this. I would like the addressess to see the
names of the other recipients, but not their e-mail addresses. I
received an e-mail just today that showed only names and not addresses
in the To: block
