Hide DOMAIN from the network

I need to hide the DOMAIN of some XP machines from the network.

I understand how to hide the machine itself (net config server /hidden:yes
/srvcomment:"Nosey aren't you") but still the domain appears in the browse
lists.

The machines in question are laptops that don't need to be joined to the
proper domain at all, just get an IP connection via wireless, but various
random domains cropping up on the network is confusing.

How do I stop an XPP machine from advertising its currently selected domain?

One possible way is to have two routers. One for the wireless laptop, which
only controls the IP addresses (192.168.4.xxx) and the real network router
(192.168.2.xxx)

Disable NetBIOS over TCP/IP. Find this in the Advance section of the TCP/IP
properties, then go to the WINS Tab.

Thanks Yves,
I can't do this as I an not able to alter the topology of the customer's
networks... though your suggestion would clearly work if I needed to isolate
the wireless segment from the reminder of the LAN.

However, the extra domains would still appear on the wireless segment.
