I am trying to hide documents but when you go to view
recent documents they are still shown even though they
are supposed to be hidden? Can I change that?

The easiest way to do this is to right click on the
taskbar and choose properties then click the Start Menu
tab and click on customize. From there you could click
on teh Advanced tab and uncheck (List my most recently
opened documents) checkbox, which will make it stop
keeping track of all opened files. At this time you may
also want to click on Clear List which will delete your
history.

The most secure way I know of is to create another
username and put the files you want hidden in that users
My Documents or any other folder in thier Documents /
Settings (username) folder, then right click on the
folder and choose sharing/security and select make this
folder private. The bad part is that then you need to
log on as that user to access these files. The good
thing is it is impossible for other users to access these
files and when you access them they go into that users
recent doc's folder (you could also make that folder
private as well.
