Hide Box / Border around a txt field

I'm stumped on something and need some guru's input. I've got a couple
fields on my forms that display the border of the txt field. I have the
field properties set to:

format...
back style = transparent
border style = transparent

data...
enabled = No
locked = Yes

What's strange is that on my computer, the border doesn't exist, but on
virtually all other computers, they see the box. I don't like the way it
appears on everyone elses computer and was wondering what is happening?

I'm sure its a simple little setting somewhere, but I'm not sure???

Any advice?
