Hi

Can anyone Help

I have a spreadsheet, and on my 3rd worksheet, the first column (A) was
hidden, now I want to show that column, but it just isnt appearing.

I have tried, Format > Column > unhide as well as Row > Unhide,
Ive also tried Edit > Go To > A1 and it still doesnt appear.

Any thoughts?

Select the whole sheet first then, unhide the column. Caution, I think
all hidden columns will show up so if you have others hidden you may be
surprised by the outcome.

Thank you for your advice BUT ive tried that and it still doesnt
work????

Did you select the sheet by holding down Ctrl and pressing A? IOW, how did
you select the entire sheet?

Ive just done that ctrl + A and then going to Format > Column > Unhide
and the same for Row - still doesnt appear.

But what would I do in that instance - all column widths are 8.43, I
wudnt know how to adjust the column width of cell A which has been
hidden?

well in that case you would select all, then grab the edge of one of th
columns you can see and drag it a little bit to make it bigger. thi
will make every column the same size as the one you just dragged
including column A...

but like i said its only a maybe that this is the case :

heading, select the the column heading where the column was hidden
then unhide i

Hi Corinne

Thank you for your reply, I went into the VBA code and there isn
anything there to indicate that column "A" is hidden.

I may have to admit defeat.
