hibernation

The directions for activating Hibernation direct me to the
Power Options in the Control panel. I am supposed to click
on the hibernation tab once I'm there. BUT, there is no
Hibernation Tab. Power Schemes, Advance, and UPS are the
only tabs there. where didi it go and what do I do?

I would like to know are you runing windows XP. Or 2000.
