Hi,
is it possible to turn off the splash screen when the system goes into
hibernation?

Thanks,

Mick

/noguiboot and disabling the friendly winlogon and welcome screen does not
fix this problem. I am talking about the windows splash screen that appears
when the system saves the hibernation data and the splash screen when the
system comes out of hibernation. Also is there a way to disable the pop up
(...user settings...) that show up right before my custom shell starts? Any
suggestions are welcome.

Thanks, I appreciate it.

Mick,

Have you tried the suggestions on "...user settings..." registry hack I put
for you in another thread?

The Hibernations screen you also want to suppress on your image seem to be
parts of ntoskrnl.exe (at least the "Hibernating...." one) so my tough guess
on this hack would be that you can't legally exclude the screens from XPe.

Many thanks, that did the trick. Your post did not show up in my Outlook
newsgroup subscription. I could only find it online???
Cheers,
