I AM USING WINDOWS XP HAVE UPDATED ALL UPDATES FROM
MICROSOFT BUT WHENEVER I CHECK BACK FOR MORE UPDATES I
FIND THER ARE NONE SO I CLOSE THE WINDOW AND AS SOON AS I
START SOMETHING ELSE MY COMP STOPS RESPONDING? I CANT
SEND AN ERROR REPORT AS I HAVE TO RESTART THROUGH TASK
MANAGER PLEASE HELP ME

STOP WITH THE CAPS!!! It is considered shouting when using all caps and
just as in a regular public place where shouting is considered *rude* all
caps is considered to be rude here.

Now for your problem, what are you trying to start that locks your computer?
Does anything show as 'not responding' in task manager? Have you installed
anything recently, hardware, software, etc... ?

Alos, for future reference, downloading and isntalling Windows Updates
doesn't solve all problems.

sorry for using caps!!!!!!!!! he he any way back to the

task at hand,as i said after closing updates my comp
stops respondig no matter what i try to run even some web
sites stop responding.
