Thanks for the birthday greetings everyone. To be honest I am not that age at all, although I sometimes feel as though I am. I put that date in the profile simply to suggest that I am NOT young. I tried various years (as far back as 1850)but quickly noted that the age did not appear unless it was 99 or less. Whoever programmed the system obviously didn't want any smartasses putting down silly dates of birth.

Another year rolls by but a year is only an arbitary measure of time (I know - it's one revolution of the earth round the sun!!!) What is time anyway? Einstein confused us all with relativity ( was his theory something to do with time travelling much more slowly when you're with your relatives?)

It's nice to wake up every day and think "I'm still here"
