helpsvc.exe is maxxing my resources at 100%

Task Manager shows that helpsvc.exe is running from 90% - 95% of my resources on a constant basis; rebooting seems to help the resource problem, and helpsvc.exe doesn't reload, but eventually it "reappears".

Any help would be appreciated.

Can't you disable helpsvc.exe in Services; how often do you use help?

Yea, try that. It's called "Help and Support"

"Control Panel -> Administrative Tools -> Services"
doubleclick on "Help and Support" and set its startup state to "Inactivated".

This means it will never start
