a few weeks ago, i was writing on my one-year old dell computer and i was in
word. i was writing in microsfot word, and i pressed the backspace bar a few
times, gently, to deleted a few words. i did this many times before, and i
didn't press anything else. when i started typing a agin, the numbers that
correspond to the letters on the top row of the key board started coming
together, as you can see. it only happens with the letters on the top row,
and the row of letters. My brother, who knows computer stuff, says it's a
virus, but i used ad-aware about 6 times, always caughting at least 2
virueses everytime, but none worked with this. i already tried restarting my
computer, and sometimes just shutting down for a few minutes after i delete
the viruses, but if it was a virus, then wouldn't it of ben caught on the
first try? im not sure what else to do, please help. also, it doesn't happen
to the letters "t and y", but all other letters. these are the letters and
numbers it does happen to: q, w, e, r, u, i, o, p, 1, 2, 3, 4, 7, 8, 9, 0,

I don't know what is causing your problem, or whether it's a virus, but I
wanted to point out that Adaware is an anti-spyware program. It does
*nothing* to find viruses. If you don't also run an up-to-date antivirus
program, you may very well be infected, as your brother suggests.
