Helpme .........Its a urgent issue...

Hai i have a major problem here.....I have two operating systems in my
pc in the c drive it has 2000 prof and d drive XP and i have internet
connection in the D drive... i.e for the XP opearitng system ..Now in
this Os i cant open my commnad box i.e start--> run--> cmd when i enter
this my command bbox blinks and goes off and even in the same the task
manager cannot be opened..Earlier i have installed this google tool bar
and yahoo tool bar but i have removed them now ...but inspite of this i
am unable to open the command propmt box whereas the same can be easily
opened in the 2000 prof o.s please give me quich and best possible
answers...any other queries regarding the same are welcome...

This May be A GPO. Setting. Hopefully you havn't gone into GPO snapins. They
work but you really have to know what you are doing. Anyone else. please
respond. Respectfully: Woz
 
Hi!

the fastest and safest option is to do a system restore (if u have it
enabled, lets hope so...). start/programs/accessories/system tools/system
restore.

What is the virus/malware status of the computer? If you think it is
clean, what programs (and versions) did you use to determine this? The
symptoms you are describing are usually caused by a virus.

Naturally you would not experience the same problem in a dual-booted
system if the second operating system were not infected.
